After a successful career in the technology industry, Charles Stacey fulfilled his long-held aspiration of becoming a wealth advisor in 2004.

Charles takes a client-focused approach to wealth management. His refined process involves taking the time to understand your unique needs and goals, then working with your other professionals to map out and implement comprehensive investment solutions. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) designations. Charles specializes in personalized financial planning, Will and estate consultations, strategic tax-minimization reviews and high net-worth planning, and he is insurance licensed.

Charles’s breadth of experience helps ensure sound advice, expert execution and peace of mind for clients who need solutions for broad and complex wealth management needs. Charles was raised in Oakville, Ontario. He was educated at Appleby College and Queen's University. He is married with two adult children and enjoys sailing, cycling, racquet sports and skiing.

Joy joined the wealth services team following a successful, 15-year career in banking at RBC. Now, having worked alongside Charles for three years, Joy acts as a primary contact for administrative inquiries. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and obtained a BA (Hons) in Geography from Ryerson University. Her experience and dedication help provide a comprehensive wealth management service that clients depend on.

Joy has lived in Oakville, Ontario, for over 20 years. She enjoys travelling, cooking, skiing and cycling.

Jennifer Janeckzo, MTax - Financial Planning Specialist

Jennifer completed her Masters of Taxation degree at the University of Waterloo in 2004 after completing a postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning from Wilfred Laurier University in 2001.

Prior to joining RBC in 2015, Jennifer gained a unique understanding of planning for the owner-manager through various roles within the insurance and accounting industries.  Her professional experience includes working extensively with high net worth individuals and their advisors dealing with estate and succession planning, corporate and personal tax, insurance planning, family trusts, private foundations and charitable organizations. 

Jennifer has over 10 years of taxation experience, is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, sits on the Board of Directors of the Estate Planners Council of Hamilton and is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Catherine Nicholls, LL.B., TEP - Will & Estate Consultant

Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, Will and Estate planning and estate administration.

Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of  law. She continues to focus on Will and Estate planning with RBC.  She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Suzanne Schultz, CA, CFP - Estate Planning Specialist

Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners,  highly taxed investors,  affluent families and other clients. Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canadas leading multi-family office firms. She was previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honor roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes.

Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.

Suzanne's areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.
