Wealth & Women
Women on average live seven years longer than men and earn two thirds of what the average Canadian man earns. Women are also more likely to leave the work force to raise a family (which can hurt pensions and retirement savings) and 90% of Canadian women will be responsible for their own financial affairs at some point in their lives. All of this means that women need more financial planning advice than ever. Building a sound financial plan starts with investing for a combination of income and growth, and understanding the unique circumstances women investors face.
Brian Stephen's Investment practice has evolved such that there is a great focus on Investing for Women.
Having recognized a need among his female clients for tailored advice and information, as well as many common life stage situations that his clients were simultaneously facing, Brian began hosting educational "Women's Financial Luncheons". Brian has been hosting these luncheons at the Brantford Golf & Country Club since 2009. In 2011, Brian began a new series of seminar luncheons called "Healthy, Wealthy & Wise" including guest speakers on a variety of topics that are of interest to his female clients. If you would like Brian to meet with you to discuss your investments, goals and circumstances, we would be happy to book an appointment for you. Also, if you are interested in attending the next "Healthy, Wealthy & Wise" seminar luncheon as Brian's guest, please contact us.
