Tim has been working in the financial services industry since 1992 both as an advisor and a specialist, where he assisted advisors with providing high-quality financial planning services to their high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining RBC, he was a Financial Advisor offering investment and insurance solutions while providing comprehensive financial planning guidance and advice to successful executives, farmers, business owners, professionals and other high net worth individuals. Tim’s extensive expertise and experience helps clients address all areas of financial planning.
Tim is a Certified General Accountant and was awarded a Fellowship designation in 2012 by CGA Canada. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter (a wealth transfer and estate planning designation).
Faisal specializes in tax and estate planning for high net worth families.
Prior to joining RBC, Faisal was a tax senior manager with a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm, as well as with a multi-national accounting firm. Faisal’s expertise includes tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families, professionals, and business owners.
Faisal is a Chartered Accountant and his educational background includes the completion of the CICA’s in-depth tax course (Level I, II and III), a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Victoria, and a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. He is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Coady Cormier, BBA (Fin), LL.B, TEP

As a Business Owner Specialist, High Net Worth Planning Services, Coady, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a business owner.
His guidance supports clients in their relationship with their external professional advisors, with whom he frequently interacts.
His expertise includes tax and estate planning for executives, business owners, professionals, retirees and those individuals with U.S. issues.
Coady’s background includes the CICA In-Depth Tax Course (Parts I, II and III), a law degree from Dalhousie Law School and a finance degree from Bishop’s University. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1992 and the Alberta Bar in 1998, Coady honed his expertise as a tax, legal and estate professional in private practice, in government and while with a trust company.
Coady is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Bar Association (Southern Alberta Branch, Tax Specialist and Wills Sections) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canadian Chapter, Calgary Branch). He holds a Full Life Insurance Licence in Alberta.

Avideh Parent is an experienced lawyer with a strong commitment to educating people on the importance of estate planning.
An accomplished public speaker, Avideh is a frequent presenter on Wills and Estates for organizations such as the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the City of Edmonton, Next Step Continuing Education, and the Edmonton Community Foundation. Avideh also has been featured on Global TV, Shaw TV, and various financial education websites.
Avideh received her undergraduate degree from Carleton University and went to Law School at the University of Alberta. In 2001 she was called to the Alberta Bar and prior to joining RBC, devoted her law practice to Wills, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration.
Avideh is also an active member of the following organizations:
- Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP);
- Wills & Estates Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association;
- Elder Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association;
