Bob came to RBC Dominion Securities from TD's Commercial Bank in 2024. Prior to this Bob and his wife Min ran a successful business dealing in global foreign exchange markets. The focus of which to manage risk for Canadian and American companies as well as individuals globally. Bob joins RBC Dominion Securities backed by nine years in the financial services industry. Time spent learning that communication and understanding are the keys to building solid relationships. With his strong entrepreneurial background, Bob has developed a deep understanding of the financial needs of business owners and their families.

 

After earning his Bachelor's from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Bob chose to put his academic skills to work and pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. Trading on behalf of clients around the globe, Bob successfully navigated markets for eight years. In his current role, Bob’s wealth management practice is a testament to his expertise, encompassing investment portfolio management, retirement and estate planning, wealth protection and business succession strategies.

 

Bob enjoys spending time with his “better halves” Min and their English Bulldog Biff when not in the office. On the weekends, Bob, Min and Biff can be found shucking oysters on a patio and enjoying Vancouver's fantastic food scene: movie marathons, nights in with the family, Dodgers baseball games and the odd round of golf. Additionally, as both a mentor and peer speaker, Bob stays active with Crohn’s and Colitis Canada throughout Manitoba and British Columbia.
