Dana George, Will & Estate Consultant
 

Dana obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary in 1999 and earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary in 2002. She was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2003 and in British Columbia in 2005.

Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Dana practiced law in Calgary, Lake Country (Kelowna area) and Vancouver. Dana was a litigator at a mid-sized law firm in Calgary. She started her own practice in Lake Country when she moved there in 2005. Her practice consisted of estate planning, real estate development and conveyances and small business corporate matters. In 2009 Dana moved her practice to Vancouver and in 2010, she joined a law firm in Vancouver specializing in estate and trust planning, estate administration and also advised business owners in all corporate, succession and real estate matters.

Dana is a member of both the Alberta and British Columbia Law Societies, the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section and a member of the Professional Womens Network.

Arne Perrin focuses his practice on succession and transition planning for family businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals on all aspects of inter-generational wealth transfer and preservation. Tara Pedersen, Financial Planning Specialist
 

Tara is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting from British Columbia Institute of Technology. Tara has also completed all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' In-Depth Tax Course.

Prior to joining RBC, Tara was a tax manager at one of the leading international public accounting firms. In her previous role, she worked with private companies, high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates. Her work included tax minimization through appropriate tax planning (corporate and personal, including estate planning) and corporate restructuring.

Tara's role is to work with and support your RBC advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans, and to identify and assess any related financial, tax and retirement planning concerns you may have.

 

Doug Waymark, Financial Planning Consultant
 

Doug brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services to his role as a Financial Planner. Experience that has honed his ability to see clients successfully negotiate each stage of their financial lives. Committed to constant improvement, Doug has complimented his career experience with extensive professional training. He is a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, a Certified Financial Planner, and a Financial Management Advisor. In addition, he holds the Specialist Trust Institute designation.

Doug is also active in the community, currently as a member of the Semiahmoo Rotary Club.

Phylicia graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics). She also holds both the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations, and is currently pursuing her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. She has over 20 years of industry experience and has leveraged the necessary technical and business development skills to provide clients with the right solutions for their unique circumstances.
