As an associate advisor for the Ascendant Wealth Partners, Max supports Evan Howard and his clients with advice, research, and analysis regarding asset mix strategy and portfolio structuring. He also assists with providing holistic wealth management services that align with client’s individual goals and objectives.
Prior to joining the Ascendant team, Max worked as an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, where he excelled in client engagement and investment management. Max holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH), and the Life License Qualification Program Insurance Course (LLQP). He is currently pursuing the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation to further enhance his knowledge and expertise in the financial markets.
Max enjoyed a successful varsity football career at McMaster University, where he won 3x Yates Cups and 1x Vanier Cup as a receiver, finishing in the top 10 in school history in both receptions and receiving yards. In his spare time, Max likes to stay physically active and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
