Katrina Black

 

As an associate portfolio manager for Ascendant Wealth Partners, Katrina supports Bruce Kagan and his clients with all their accounting, performance, portfolio, and operational needs.

Katrina has a decade of professional experience in in-depth investment analysis and accounting assurance, including her most recent post as an analyst at a leading Canadian wealth management boutique for three years. Katrina is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) as well as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). She also holds an Honours Business Administration degree (with Distinction) from the Richard Ivey Business School at Western University.

In her spare time, Katrina is actively involved in the Girls E-Mentorship (GEM) program, which helps to empower and support young women. She also enjoys staying active and pursuing outdoor activities, such as biking, running, and snowboarding. Katrina loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their family at the cottage.
