One of the leaders of Ascendant Wealth Partners, Evan thoughtfully and expertly looks after the wealth needs of affluent families and institutions, always taking a keen and well-informed focus on risk management and mitigation.

 
 

In his role, Evan leverages advanced investment know-how borne of 20-plus years in the industry. He started his career performing the complex analytical work of derivatives securities, which led to a role as an investment analyst, where Evan was responsible for the synthetic replication program, using equity index futures contracts. Most recently, Evan served as a Managing Director and portfolio manager at a leading Canadian wealth management boutique. Evan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies degree from Western University.

Evan and his wife, Melissa, are proud parents to Elysse and Kai. In his spare time, Evan likes to stay fit through activities like cycling and he enjoys travelling – be it throughout North America for Kai’s baseball tournaments or across the Atlantic for family vacations in Europe. Evan is also a past Vice Chair of the Equity Committee for the CFA Society Toronto.
