Decker joined Ascendant Wealth Partners in 2025 as an Associate to support the partners in portfolio management, execution, analytical research and financial planning.

Prior to joining the team, Decker worked as an equity analyst at a boutique hedge fund preparing financial models and written reports as well as participating in fund strategy and trade execution. As an analyst, Decker covered a diverse portfolio of Canadian and U.S. companies across numerous industries including, consumer discretionary, technology, industrials, software and housing. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

Outside of work, Decker is an avid Toronto Sports fan with a passion for cooking, golf, travel, and fitness.
