I was raised on a family farm and spent formative years around a family-owned manufacturing business. From an early age, I saw firsthand how financial decisions affect not just balance sheets, but families, employees, and long-term legacy. Those experiences continue to shape how I approach wealth management today.
After moving from New Zealand to Canada in 2009, I began my career with Royal Bank of Canada as a Commercial Account Manager, working closely with business owners across Southwestern Ontario. That role deepened my understanding of the complexities that arise when personal, corporate, and family wealth intersect. I later transitioned into my current role as an Investment Counsellor with RBC PH&N Investment Counsel in London, Ontario, where I advise a select group of clients across the region.
I hold both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations and act in a fiduciary capacity for my clients. I take pride in operating under elevated fiduciary standards—providing advice that is objective, transparent, and free from sales-driven language. My role is not to sell products, but to deliver clarity, discipline, and stewardship.
My Why
My purpose is simple: to help people navigate complex financial situations as simply as possible.
Wealth can be complicated—markets evolve, rules change, and life brings unexpected transitions. My goal is to bring structure and calm to that complexity, translating sophisticated strategies into clear, practical decisions that align with what matters most to my clients.
Who Our Team Works With
We work exclusively with high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations, typically with investable assets ranging from $1 million to $100 million. My clients are often business owners, farmers, professionals, and multi-generational families who value a thoughtful, long-term approach to managing wealth.
Through RBC PH&N, clients benefit from exclusive access to institutional pooled investments, a low-conflict fee-based pricing model, and a platform where all clients are treated consistently and equitably across the country. This institutional approach allows portfolios to be built with discipline, efficiency, and alignment—without preference or bias.
Beyond the Balance Sheet
Outside of work, I am a husband and father who enjoys golf and supporting my children in hockey, soccer, and golf. These moments reinforce why disciplined financial planning matters—not as an end in itself, but as a means to protect what has been built and enable what comes next
