Lifestyle and legacy

“I have always liked the idea of having choices.”

Sander Tettmar believes that everyone gets to choose their path in life. But to have choices, you have to plan for them. It is Sander’s father, an actuary as legendary for planning ahead as he is for enjoying life to the fullest, who has strongly influenced his son’s outlook. “My dad always says that we only have one life to live. So we might as well experience as much as we can – in terms of family, work, travel and everything – and also make sure we leave something meaningful behind.”

Lifestyle and legacy. For more than 15 years, Sander’s mission has been to help you secure them both. “My clients are business owners and wealthy families in Central Alberta. Their biggest concern is the transition period as they get closer to retirement or into it, making sure they have enough to provide the lifestyle they want for the rest of their lives. They are looking for estate and legacy planning advice that will protect what they’ve created.”

Sander and his team provide that counsel with an unsurpassed level of urgency and execution: day after day, they do what they say they’re going to do. Because they pay attention to the little things – and even more attention to the big things – their clients enjoy a high level of comfort and trust in them.

Sander lives in Red Deer with his wife and two children and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Management (Finance and Economics) degree from the University of Lethbridge. Renowned for being analytical and calm, he holds the most highly respected investment credential, the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), along with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and other designations. To provide customized wealth management solutions and advanced planning strategies to high net worth clients, Sander works with a leading team of highly trained professionals at RBC Dominion Securities and tells them never be afraid to be amazing at what they do.
