As a private banker with RBC Wealth Management, Michael Choi provides comprehensive wealth management and financing strategies to high-net-worth business owners, executives, professionals, and their families.
Based in the B.C. Lower Mainland, Michael works with a select number of clients in British Columbia to address their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs by providing tailored seamless banking and financial solutions.
When the need should arise, he has access to specialists from across RBC to work collaboratively and provide a complete range of complementary services. These range from investment management, estate/legacy planning, business owner planning as well as broad trust services to sophisticated credit and leverage strategies to support individual on their financial goals.
Michael offers an extensive background in client relationship to his role as private banker. He draws upon 20 years of experience within RBC, consisting of a wide range of roles in Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, as well as the strategy and planning experiences.
A graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, with a master's in sciences, Michael has continued to deepen his knowledge and expertise through his many years of experience in personal and commercial Banking.

Edward obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 2013 and earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom in 2015. He completed his Masters of Law at Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2016 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2018.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management Services, Edward advised for a national trust company exclusive to physicians and their families, on fostering wealth and legacy transfer through estate planning and trust administration.
Edward practiced estates and trust law in a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver, assisting clients with estate and incapacity planning, including the preparation of Wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, as well as complex trusts. In addition, Edward advised executors, trustees and beneficiaries on estate and trust administration duties and responsibilities, including preparing applications for representative grants and administering complex asset structures.
Edward is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section (Vancouver), and has been involved in various community and volunteer initiatives throughout his career, serving as a committee member for the Canadian Bar Association Legal Futures Initiative and director to the Global Lawyers of Canada in BC.

Financial Planning Specialist
Jessie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to joining RBC, Jessie accumulated over eight years of experience in public practice. In his previous role as a Senior Tax Manager at one of the major global accounting firms, he specialized in providing tax planning and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals, private businesses, estates, trusts, and partnerships. His work focused on estate planning, business succession and corporate reorganizations.
Jessie believes that financial planning is critical to achieving financial success. His role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting your Compass Financial Plan, as well as to identify and assess any related financial and tax planning concerns you may have.
