Just like last year, it feels like we've had a year's worth of drama in less than a month, and in fact evidence of this can be seen when you look at what sectors and sub-sectors are driving the gains that stocks have had year-to-date to this point. But in this video, as hard as it may seem, we look at the story of the year thus far not just through the lens of the news cycle, but in the context of the various key economic data releases we've had to this point so as to get a sense of what the fundamentals are actually telling us in the here-and-now (an exercise that proved very helpful both in April 2025 & March 2020).
