Tyler began his career in in 2002 as a Derivatives Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. There he advanced his professional experience in financial services before returning home to Calgary in 2009. Tyler joined RBC Dominion Securities as an Investment Advisor in 2013.

 

Today as a Portfolio Manager, Tyler is proud to offer his clients RBC Dominion Securities’ premium advisor-managed portfolio service, Private Investment Management. Tyler fundamentally believes that advisors owe their clients a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development to successfully navigate the ever-shifting worlds of investment, estate and tax management. In addition to his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, Tyler is options licensed, is a fully licensed life accident and sickness agent, holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and has earned the highest honor and most senior credential in Canadian financial services - Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).

 

Throughout his time with RBC Dominion Securities Tyler has felt honored to work alongside some of the best and brightest Wealth Management professionals in Canada. Outside the office Tyler and his wife Tereza are busy enjoying every day with their sons Tristan (December 2018 ) and Theo (Christmas 2020). Locally they are often found enjoying the mountains around Calgary year round and globally they try to experience a new part of the world as often as they can. Tyler is active in the local community and enjoys volunteering his time to charities and local causes.

Nicole joined RBC DS in 2018 and provides a high level of client service and relationship management skills.  She is responsible for day to day operations, administrative functions and to assist with trading. Nicole’s mandate is to ensure that every client has an exceptional experience.

 

A native of Vancouver, Nicole has traveled Europe and Asia which lead her to a decade of living in the UK studying and graduating with a diploma in Visual Merchandising. Shortly after returning to Canada, she moved to Calgary where she worked in sales and client service positions while attending SAIT Polytechnic completing a Petroleum Land Administration certificate program. Nicole has since completed her CSC and CPH courses.

 

In their spare time Nicole and her husband enjoy walking their dogs, cooking, entertaining friends and traveling to their family cottage in Muskoka during the summer months.
