DIARY OF A PORTFOLIO MANAGER

1) Cybersecurity and fraud

2) Financial literacy month – how are you celebrating?

You probably don’t have this in your calendar but November is make a Will month. I read that it is also financial literacy month. Who comes up with this stuff? If you guessed that this means champagne and fireworks at the Kennedy house then you would be correct.

Anyway, most people reading this may have some thoughts regarding their Will and overall estate plan and it perhaps needing a couple tweaks.

Here is a video that may spark some ideas: Have you made these two estate planning mistakes?

The point is to make sure you have a net worth statement which you keep current with the copy of your Will and POA documents in your home and review your estate plan every two years. The Family Inventory is something that we can provide and can be used as a great tool to gather the information to leave for your executor/attorney for property.

If you would like to receive a digital copy, please reply to this email and someone on the team will get it out to you.

Have yourself a great week,

J. Todd Kennedy, CIM, FCSI
