Steven completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at York University in 1989 and subsequently completed the CICA In-Depth Tax course.  He has also achieved the advanced designations of Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

During his time as a tax and financial practitioner with several professional service firms, Steven specialized in Canadian, U.S. and cross-border personal income taxation, and provided planning and preparation services to clients.  He also has professional experience with the RBC Tax Advisory Group and RBC Dexia, where he provided tax advice to various business units within RBC.

Prior to joining RBC, Mark spent over 14 years in the High Net Worth Tax group of a Big 4 accounting firm in Toronto.  Acting as a trusted business advisor for Ultra High Net Worth families, Mark was responsible for the creation and implementation of effective strategies for wealth preservation and accumulation in the context of tax, estate and succession planning for owner-managers of private companies, senior executives of public companies and professional athletes.

Mark is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner.  He has completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Advance Certificate in Family Business Advising, all three levels of the CAP Canada In-Depth Tax Course, as well as the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business Course and the Corporate Reorganizations Course.

Celia Ong brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to the team, the majority of it earned in the trust industry, to her role as Estate and Trust Advisor in Toronto.  Celia provides estate and trust solutions for named executors and families throughout the GTA.  She helps executors meet their immediate needs, and then works with them to understand the estate settlement as a whole.  An expert in RBC's Agent for Executor offering.  Celia then helps her clients identify where they might benefit from additional support-from help with specific tasks to carrying out the entire estate settlement process on their behalf.
