He is highly educated, with a degree in engineering physics from Simon Fraser University, and financial designations including CFP (Certified Financial Planner), and CIM (Canadian Investment Management) designations. His background, which includes years spent working in his family's construction business, has formed the basis for his financial career and given him a well-rounded understanding of what it means to be a wealth manager.

Born and raised in Revelstoke, today Chris and his family are an active part of the Kelowna community. Chris is involved in his children's schools and activities and has been a Director for the Kelowna Art Gallery and the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Chris has been the key sponsor of community-building events such as the Life & Arts Festival and the Kelowna Garden Tour.
