Born and raised in Vancouver, Sheila attended Santa Clara University in California on a four year scholarship and received an MBA from UBC. Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities she worked for several national companies and also taught business at Kwantlen Polytechnic University for 7 years. She is married and has 3 children.

Julie Recksiedler - Associate
Julie has over 15 years of experience with RBC and joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2014. When Julie was in the branch network she held various positions including Account Manager and Associate. She holds her Wealth Management Essentials and Canadian Securities. She has a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University.

Julie is very involved with Girl Guides and has been part of that organization for over 20 years. She enjoys hiking, camping and various outdoor activities with her husband, three children and their dog.

Matt began his career in the financial services industry in 1995 and is a specialist in his field. Matt graduated from Bishops University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has acquired the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and the Certified Health Insurance Specialist designations.

 
Dana George, LL.B. - Will & Estate Consultant
 Dana obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary in 1999 and earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary in 2002. She was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2003 and in British Columbia in 2005.

Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Dana practiced law in Calgary, Lake Country (Kelowna) and Vancouver. Dana was a litigator at a mid-sized law firm in Calgary. She started her own practice in Lake Country when she moved there in 2005. Her practice consisted of estate planning, real estate development and conveyances and small business corporate matters. In 2009 Dana moved her practice to Vancouver and in 2010, she joined a law firm in Vancouver specializing in estate and trust planning, estate administration and also advised business owners in all corporate, succession and real estate matters.

Dana is a member of both the Alberta and British Columbia Law Societies, the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section and a member of the Professional Women's Network.

Dana's role with RBC Wealth Management is to work with you and your advisor to review and restructure your Will, estate and trust matters to ensure that your plan is organized in an effective and tax-efficient manner.

 

  Tara Pedersen, CPA, CGA - Financial Planning Specialist

 Tara is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting from British Columbia Institute of Technology. Tara has also completed all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax Course.

Prior to joining RBC, Tara was a tax manager at one of the leading international public accounting firms. In her previous role, she worked with private companies, high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates. Her work included tax minimization through appropriate tax planning (corporate and personal, including estate planning) and corporate restructuring.

Tara’s role is to work with and support your RBC advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans, and to identify and assess any related financial, tax and retirement planning concerns you may have.

 

Meg Sulahian - Premier Banking Advisor

As a Premier Banking Advisor for Coquitlam, Langley, White Rock and New Westminster areas Meg Sulahian works as a single point of contact, providing banking and credit solutions for select clients of Wealth Management Canada and their families. Partnering with Investment Advisors and Counselors across the region, he provides personalized service and tailored advice to help clients save time and effectively manage their day to day banking needs.

With more than 5 years of experience in financial services with RBC, Meg has become a respected member of the banking community in which she works. Through a dedicated approach to client service and acting as a day to day banking expert, she has focused on ensuring her clients have the best suite of products and services the bank has to offer and tailored advice to meet their individual needs.

Meg is committed to giving back to her community and volunteers with the Syrian refugee program. She is the host of the Armenian Variety show on Vancouver’s Co-Op Radio and is a reporter for the Montreal based newspaper Horizon.

Meg has lived in three Canadian provinces and now resides in BC with her husband and two children. Meg holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Sciences and Literature from the Université D ’Alep.

She spends her spare time swimming, skating and traveling the world. She speaks English, French, Armenian, Arabic and Turkish.

 

Phylicia Rye, CFP, PFP - Senior Trust Advisor

 As a Senior Trust Advisor, Phylicia Rye serves clients throughout the Eastern Greater Vancouver and North Vancouver Island areas. Her focus on providing estate and trust advice and solutions to high net worth families has garnered her a strong reputation among her peers and is well known within the estate and trust industry for her ability to deal with complex issues.

Phylicia graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics). She also holds both the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations, and is currently pursuing her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. She has over 20 years of industry experience and has leveraged the necessary technical and business development skills to provide clients with the right solutions for their unique circumstances.
