Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation

The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation proudly serves as the primary charitable fundraiser for the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Child Health & Wellness Research at the University of Calgary. They also partner with Alberta Health Services and agencies in their community to support child health advancements across our city and province.

Alpha House

Alpha House has a history of innovating and evolving to meet the needs of their clients, the city, and the complexities of homelessness and drug use. Calgary Alpha House Society was established in 1981 as a committed response to a marginalized population of people who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs and living vulnerable on the streets.

Calgary Branches Poppy Fund

Calgary Branches Poppy Fund's core value is to assist Veterans and their dependents. Their volunteers are the strength of their campaign. Poppy Funds are held in trust by The Royal Canadian Legion, and all funds are used in strict accordance with the Poppy Manual and General Bylaws.

Calgary Food Bank

The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank they have the capacity to serve families, individuals and organizations to fight hunger and its root causes because no one should go hungry.

Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter

The Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter is focused on ending family violence and abuse in the lives of women, children, youth and men. Taking a Stand Against Family Violence in the community since 1974, the agency has helped over 260,000 Calgarians build safe lives and healthy relationships. 

Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta

Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta is Alberta's only Jewish Kosher Kitchen currently in operation, and they are committed to assuring Kosher meals for as many people in need as possible throughout the province. With their mandate of serving all people regardless of faith and ethnicity, they serve meals beyond Jewish families and to all Albertans in need.

JA Canada

JA Canada inspires the next generation to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Through their network of local offices, they collaborate with educators, volunteers, and organizations across Canada to deliver hands-on, immersive, and digital learning experiences to young people. 

Jewish Community Foundation of Calgary

The Jewish Community Foundation of Calgary (JCFC) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Calgary and Israel by encouraging charitable gifts to create endowment funds and grants. They help people give back to their communities in ways that are simple, convenient and lasting.

RBC Race for the Kids

RBC Race for the Kids started as a single race in New York in 2009, and has grown into a series of 17 events that take place around the world. Altogether, 325,000+ participants have raised more than CAD$74 million for youth charities. Due to Covid-19, charities focused on youth mental health are more needed than ever before, so a hybrid race format was created.

The Mustard Seed

The Mustard Seed is a Christian non-profit organization that has been caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. Operating in five cities across Alberta and British Columbia, they are a supportive haven where people can have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met and grow toward greater health and independence.
