Landon has his last exam on the 24th and then he will be graduating from Queens. He starts a full time job (every parents dream) today though. He has been very involved with being his Faculty Student President, the Model Parliament, and many other activities. Needless to say, we are quite pleased that all of his hard work has helped him land the job he wants. He has headed to Ottawa as a Parliamentary Aid for an MP.
Tax Packages; The March 29 tax package mailings will conclude this year’s tax reporting. However, clients should be aware that it is possible for issuers to amend previously reported information resulting in amended tax packages.
This Past Week; We continued to have some very volatile days including Friday’s “trade war” related drop which, in the end caused markets to finishing lower for the week. The TSX -1.0%, the DOW -0.7%, and the SP500 – 1.4%. So far today the rhetoric has calmed a little and markets are positive.
The Weekend/Weather; Is it spring or winter? Golf courses are hoping for the warmer weather that is coming later in the week but, the month of April still doesn’t look all that warm.
