Richard was born in Calgary and moved to Richmond in 1969. He joined Vancouver's Pemberton Securities in 1989 after nearly a decade of successful ownership in one of Vancouver's premier snow skiing stores; Pemberton was subsequently purchased by RBC Dominion Securities in 1990.
Richard possesses an Investment and Options license and is fully licensed to suggest a broad range of insurance solutions, such as annuities. He is currently completing his studies for the Canadian Investment Manager.
In 1996, Richard moved his primary office from Kerrisdale to Richmond, thereby becoming one of the first Investment Advisors to offer the full resources of RBC Dominion Securities locally.
Richard also has an extensive local network of legal and accounting profession als that can be referred to when needed.
A member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce since 1992 and the Canadian Red Cross, Richard is kept busy with many activities for the community. He is not only a long time personal supporter of the Richmond Food Bank, he has also been elected to their Board of Directors and now serves as past President. His passions include spending time with his wife Karla, golfing, skiing and traveling.
