For many weeks now, you’ve received countless emails from me regarding the market volatility, COVID-19, along with updates on the many actions we are taking to protect your portfolio and ensure you are well-positioned as we emerge from this pandemic. Keeping you informed, and more importantly, reminding you that we are always here to discuss further with you is paramount to me and my business. Our blog is an excellent resource for the weekly market insights we publish regularly.

Today, however, my email has nothing to do with markets and everything to do with family and those we love most in our life.

We’ve had the pleasure of hearing about your families, and clients are so kind to ask about our families. I can think of no better time to share with you that my family is doing well! Many of you know that my husband Jason and I have three children (Callum 12th grade, Owen 10th grade, and Kaia 6th grade) and two spunky dogs (Lacey & Toby). Like most families, before COVID-19, we were always on the go, running with kids activities and out of town dance competitions. In light of the pandemic, our family time has slowed down with many cherished moments. Now our family time is filled with bike rides, basketball games, baking, puzzles, and of course, movie nights. The slower pace reminds me of my childhood and is certainly a silver lining in the challenges we are facing right now.

I am also pleased to share with you that our team members and their families are also doing very well. I thought it would be fun to share some pictures with you of our team, with a glimpse into everyone’s new daily pandemic routines. Please see below.

One World: Together at Home

We would also like to invite you to join us for the concert: One World: Together at Home. It will be an evening of music featuring some of the world’s most influential artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Lizzo performing live from their homes. The concert will take place on April 18, and I invite you to tune in and experience something special that is connected to our ongoing commitment to support COVID-19 response efforts.

As a long-standing supporter of music, RBC knows first-hand the power of music and its ability to unite and comfort us. On behalf of RBC employees around the globe, RBC is making an additional $250,000 donation in support of COVID-19 community response efforts.

A simultaneous digital stream will be accessible to global audiences on April 18 from 3 p.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET across multiple online platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, Tidal, and YouTube.

Please click here where you will find the link to this historic event.

Our world, as we know it, has shifted, and I am sure we will get back to our regular routines once again. Until then, I hope you find peace in the memories you are making with your loved ones.

We are all so blessed and fortunate to have our families, friends and each other, even if we are connected virtually, and that is what is most important in life.

Stay Healthy & Be Well,

Rhonda & Team
