Professor Ono will share his thoughts on the current mental health epidemic in our youth, and his journey in living with depression and bipolar disorder. "Suicide is a real risk for university-age youth, and we need them to know they are not alone," says Ono.
This event is a fundraiser for Third Space's Student Care Program, which provides clinical counselling to UBCO students on campus. In 2018/2019, Third Space provided counselling to over 1,500 students. All funds raised will go toward providing additional counselling services to UBCO students through the Third Space Student Care Program."
