Our chief economist, Eric Lascelles, shares his latest views on the global economy offering insight into today’s top economic issues.  In this month’s webcast, decelerating economic growth continues to be a major theme, driven by softening economic data, ongoing trade wars and Brexit. Eric Lascelles, however, believes the downside risks are shrinking somewhat, helped by central bank easing, positive trade negotiation outcomes, and solid U.S. employment and consumer spending.
