On May 29th, Rhonda and RBC partnered with the Breakfast Club of Canada to provide a nutritious meal to students in our community.
Alongside Breakfast Club, our team members had the opportunity to prepare and serve breakfast at George Pringle Elementary School. It was also an honor to present Breakfast Club with a $5000 donation on behalf of Hymers Wealth Management Group & RBC Dominion Securities. Hymers Wealth Management Group and RBC Wealth Management are proud to be a lead sponsor for the local Breakfast Club programs. Over the last 5 years we have donated $25,000 each year to help open and support school breakfast programs across Canada. As a team, we take pride in being part of a purpose-driven, principles-led and performance-focused organization with RBC, that has long invested in communities and our youth.

In addition to fundraising, my team has enjoyed volunteering regularly with Breakfast Club of Canada, helping prepare and serve breakfast at Quigley Elementary School. We have found this to be an incredible, humbling experience; learning about the need within our community, and having the opportunity to make a positive impact for our youth with like-minded individuals through Breakfast Club. The highlight of the volunteer experience this year was hearing a young student say, "These pancakes are better than my Grams".

RBC Dominion Securities participated in the Canada Day long weekend Gorges Comeau HOMEBASE Charity Slo-Pitch Tournament. Hosted by hometown heroes, hockey stars Josh Gorges and Blake Comeau, this fun filled weekend welcomed an all-star cast of NHL Players. A BIG Thanks to all the players, volunteers and community for teaming up to raise over $212,000+ dollars.
