Update in our Market:

- US Economy is entering its tenth year of expansion and possibly the longest bull market in history.

- Current economic indicators suggest that there might be some more room for expansion.

- Average GDP growth over the last 10 years was nice and steady of 2.2%.

- Leading Economic indicators are signaling positive economic momentum into next year.

- Corporate earnings will continue to grow in 2019 at above average pace.

- Probability of a Global Trade war is very low.

- Unemployment is exhibiting both mid-late cycle characteristics. Evidence for late-cycle is more dominant and doesn't mean end of the business cycle.

- Current Global Central policies are still accommodative and moving towards neutralization.

- S&P 500 climbed to new all-time highs in August.  TSX has underperformed compared to the U.S. markets, however, 2019 earnings estimate show improvements supported by the Energy sector.

 

 

  An Invincible Summer raises $120,000 for Kelowna Programs - September 29th Event

Hymers Wealth Management was proud to be the lead sponsor for the Invincible Summer, a charity event reporting a resounding success in its goal to raise money for mental health programs in Kelowna.  Third Space Charity's first annual fundraising event, "An Invincible Summer" raised $120,000, with over $15,000 supporting Mamas For Mamas.

Third Space Life Charity offers counseling services and community programs to promote mental health, regardless of financial barriers.

Team Corner:

Meet our Team Member & Assistant, Cynthia Shum.

When Cynthia isn't in the office, you can find her all throughout Kelowna on many different sports fields.  This spring and summer, she was involved in two co-ed softball teams, soccer team,  volleyball and an ultimate frisbee team.  Her teams had some great success throughout the season, with her soccer and softball teams placing first in their leagues. 

A high achiever and tremendous asset to Hymers Wealth Management, Cynthia was announced as a third quarter winner for the 2018 RBC Performance.  This award recognizes employees who demonstrate a high level of client experience and customer service, and are role models among their colleagues within our community.
