event that was held at the Caetani Cultural Centre Society on August 23rd. The Caetani Cultural Centre and it's support for the development and evolution of Sveva Caetani's vision provides an artistic and cultural heritage in the North Okanagan. This event provided an opportunity for art appreciation in a social setting, bringing the public and the artists together in an event that creates excited, discovery and inspiration. As the Caetani Centre's largest fundraiser, A Splash of Red has raised over $120,000 to date in support of C3's journey to becoming an established cultural and heritage centre for artists both locally and globally.
Team Corner:
Pia Garbutt and her entire family of 13 recently traveled to Italy in August for 2 weeks. The highlights of her trip were visiting all the ancient ruins such as
the Forum and the Colosseum, Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. During this trip she celebrated her mom's 75th birthday with all 40 relatives. The last time Pia's mom saw her two sisters was 18 years ago. Sharing this experience with her husband and daughter and with her family meant the world to her. She would like to share some of her photos for you to enjoy.
