Since joining RBC Dominion Securities Inc. in 1996, Peter has achieved a number of professional designations including the CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst), CIM (Chartered Investment Manager), CPCA (Certified Professional Consultant on Aging), FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute).
With his over 25 years of wealth management experiences and his professional designations, it enables him to customized investment portfolios that integrate with his clients' family, estate, charitable giving and corporate entities. Partnering with accountants, lawyers, insurance & estate planning advisors, Peter is able to deliver an integrated financial solutions with multiple families generations. He oversees the financial affairs for a select group of families managing discretionary portfolios. Peter is also PC USA licensed.
After 16 years working as a Domestic D.S. IA; in 2012, Peter challenged himself and decided to join the Canada Asia Centre (CAC) team. Working closely with his partners (International Private Bankers, domestic bankers, mortgage specialist and financial planners), he had successfully expanded his clienteles to the other parts of the world. He travels to meet with the clients resides outside Vancouver.
Peter has been part of the Executive Council for a consecutive of 20 years. Clients appreciate Peter for his pursuit of excellence, independent thinking, and his sound investment principles he uses to generate long term wealth and planning. He is committed to serving his clients with excellence and goes above and beyond focusing on providing client trust and "a financial peace of mind". Peter participates in the fundraising activities of BC Children's Hospital and the UBC & VGH Hospital Foundation. In his leisure, he enjoys swimming, golfing and traveling. He has two adult children, Matthew and Sarah, with his wife JoAnn.
