At RBC Dominion Securities, we know that “community” is something we all create. As individuals, families, businesses, and partners, our contributions to our community come back to us in spades, and enrich the lives of everyone in our region. We are always involved in activities, events, and causes that benefit Pembroke. Here are a few of the organizations we support.
What started as a single Race in New York in 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has grown into a series of 25+ family fun races that take place around the world. More than 360,000 participants have raised over $82 million CAD for youth charities across the globe.
To provide youth and families in need with integrated, evidence-based addiction and mental health treatment, delivered by competent professionals within a caring and compassionate environment.
The St. Joseph's Community Food Bank in Pembroke is a registered charity opened in 1986. We are a non-denominational, non-profit, non-political charity. We do not receive government funding. All food and monies are donated by local individuals, businesses and organizations.
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS), has had the mandate to support full access to education and employment for post-secondary students and graduates with disabilities across Canada.
We provide compassionate support, tailored coaching and practical education for everyone impacted by dementia while building a dementia inclusive community.
Deep Roots Food Hub (DRFH) is made up of a passionate team of local farmers, market gardeners, health professionals, business people, and residents of West Carleton. Despite coming from all different walks of life, they all have the same goal in mind: to develop programs that will make it easier for all residents to access, grow, and sell affordable, healthy food.
If you know of an organization that is working hard to make our community a better place, we would love to hear about it.
