Investment Management

At the Sullivan Wealth Management Group, we understand that every client faces different and unique financial issues and challenges. Accordingly, our investment management process is focused on two primary goals:

  1. The delivery of a competitive rate of return, after inflation and costs.

  2. Capital preservation.

Our equity (stock) modelling is a proprietary process that uses analytical data as the basis for assessing potential and continuing suitability of a particular security.

The key to our model's success is that there is no emotional attachment to any of the securities that we hold or recommend. We make buy and sell decisions based upon facts and results, not on hope or hype.

While no investment process is infallible, we have performance and back tested data for most models stretching over a 20-year period. As a result, we can readily support our historical ability to perform relative to correlated benchmarks over multiple time horizons.

Wealth Management (Risk Management)

We believe that wealth management embraces far more than day-to-day investment advice. It includes financial and lifestyle protection, retirement planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, legacy creation and much more. Ultimately, all are inter-connected and no effective wealth plan can afford to ignore them. Accordingly, our wealth management process encompasses eight (8) discrete investigative steps leading to an actionable wealth management strategy:

  1. Discovery: We develop an understanding of your goals, personal and financial.

  2. Financial Planning: We prepare an analysis of your total financial situation.

  3. Will & Estate Review: We help you address your estate planning concerns and goals.

  4. Insurance Review: We help you protect what you have worked hard to build.

  5. Investment Policy Statement (IPS): This is the blueprint for your investment strategy.

  6. Investment Proposal: This is your recommended investment plan, approved by you.

  7. Ongoing Services: We track portfolio performance and give you timely updates.

  8. Regular Reviews: As your needs and markets evolve, we adjust your plan accordingly.

As a result of our – highly discretionary – approach, our client conversations, subsequent analysis and carefully considered actions, are driven by what is important to you rather than simply by the facilitation of trades.
