Paul lives on the outskirts of Ottawa in Manotick Station with his wife Rosanna who he met at St. Pius X High School in 1983. His proudest accomplishments are his 2 children Bradley and Leah.
He attended Carleton University and obtained his Commerce degree with a special focus on Investment and Corporate Finance in 1988. While at university he started his career with Royal Trust. Most of his time there was devoted to helping people manage their investments and their estate plans. Paul has delivered over 100 seminars on Will and Estate Planning over the years.
In 1995, soon after RBC took over Royal Trust, Paul transitioned to our new sister firm RBC Dominion Securities. Since then, he has been able to build a very successful and very personalized business with a wonderful client base.
Paul continues to pursue education through a variety of sources. Over the past few years he has taken courses at St. Paul’s University in their Conflict Studies Program. This stimulating program led to a new business focus in Sustainable or Socially Responsible Investing (SRI).
He became a member of the Responsible Investment Association in 2011. In 2014 he earned his Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) at Concordia University. Now he is well on his way to becoming one of the leading Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) specialists in the region.
In the community Paul is very proud of his time answering phones at the Ottawa Distress Center, and as a Big Brother to Jonathan. You can also find him volunteering his musical talents as a singer and guitar player at some of the retirement homes around town.
