We‘re investing in access to mental health services for all Canadians in support of CMHA’s Mental Health Week.

As we celebrate Mental Health Week and our continued commitment to proudly support the communities we serve, RBC Wealth Management is proud to partner with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), the nationwide leader and champion for mental health support services.

Through the RBC Foundation, we‘re investing in access to mental health services for Canadians and their families, allowing everyone to get the help we need, when we need it.

Across Canada, RBC Wealth Management employed various tactics to support CMHA, including a $200,000 donation through the RBC Foundation to the new free, online BounceBack program. The program can be accessed over the phone with a coach and through online videos, and seeks to help Canadians gain new skills to reclaim positive mental health that may have been negatively impacted during the pandemic.

Research by the CMHA and UBC has found that 40 percent of Canadians have experienced a decline in their mental health since the start of the pandemic. Helping our communities prosper is at the core of everything we do – so it’s imperative that families in our community have access to the right services at the right time.

We’re honoured to be working with CMHA and are committed to helping Canadians develop coping techniques so they can overcome challenges now – and in the future.
