As Private Banker, Heidi Hogan acts as a dedicated relationship manager for her clients and their families. She provides personalized, discreet financial counsel to a select group of clients throughout Halifax and Nova Scotia.
Ms. Hogan designs sophisticated banking, personalized short- and long-term lending and flexible credit packages for her clients. And through RBC Financial Group, she works with a team of specialists in Canada and in key markets worldwide. This team enables her to provide a complete range of services - including investments, business banking, estate planning, and domestic and international trusts - to meet each client’s specific needs.
Because she works with a relatively small number of clients, Ms. Hogan is able to ensure responsive service and the level of attention her clients require to make their lives simpler. When necessary, she will work with her clients’ other professional advisors to deliver comprehensive, integrated financial solutions.
Committed to constant improvement, Ms. Hogan has completed the Canadian Securities Course and has earned her Personal Financial Planning and Certified Financial Planning designations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University.
As a Private Banker, Jeremy Moore provides over seven years of expert financial counsel to high-net-worth businesses, families and organizations in the Halifax area.
Mr. Moore acts as a dedicated relationship manager for his clients and their families, who value his discretion and responsiveness, as well as his experience addressing a broad range of wealth, retirement and credit planning needs through all stages of their financial lives. Prior to joining Private Banking, Mr. Moore was an Investment and Retirement Planner with RBC Royal Bank, where he provided comprehensive financial solutions to his clients, collaborating whenever needed to ensure synergy with their investment and tax planning needs. To ensure that his clients receive a high level of financial planning expertise, he has also earned his designation as Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
As part of a tailored suite of Private Banking services, Mr. Moore designs sophisticated banking, personalized short- and long-term wealth plans and flexible credit packages for his clients. Through RBC, he provides a complete range of services – including commercial banking, estate planning, and domestic and international trusts – to meet each client's specific needs.
Mr. Moore is fluent in English and French. Originally from Charlottetown, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, where he was president of the UPEI Business Society. Outside of the office he spends much of his time coaching and mentoring minor hockey and rugby players.
Lynne Simmons brings extensive experience to her role as Private Banker, in which she delivers personalized, discrete banking, credit and financial counsel to select clients throughout Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John's Newfoundland.
As a dedicated wealth planner, Ms. Simmons creates sophisticated banking packages and a full suite of personalized credit solutions for her clients and their families. She then draws on a team of RBC experts who assist with investments, commercial banking, and domestic and international trust products, to create a uniquely personalized banking experience for her clients.
To ensure personalized service and attention to detail, Ms. Simmons works with a limited number of clients and their families. This focused approach, allows her to spend more time simplifying her clients' lives, working when necessary with their other professional advisors to deliver comprehensive, integrated financial solutions.
Ms. Simmons is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP), enabling her to provide seamless advice and financial planning to her clients. She holds a diploma in Management Development from Mount Saint Vincent University and achieved professional certification as a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA). As a FEA., she advises on concerns specific to family business, ranging from ongoing financial management to succession planning for the next stage of the business lifecycle-and all matters in between.
Ms. Simmons is an active member of the Halifax community, and helps with the Great Big Dig, a major fundraiser in support of the IWK Health Centre. In her spare time, she enjoys running and setting new goals.

As part of each client’s tailored package, Marcel designs and implements personalized banking, cash management, short- and long-term wealth plans and flexible credit solutions. He also works closely with experts from across RBC to provide his clients with a complete range of wealth services and solutions – including complex credit, investment management, business planning, estate planning and trusts.

Marcel is committed to understanding his clients’ personal and financial goals, providing exemplary service and communication, maintaining client confidentiality, and ultimately delivering a comprehensive financial plan to preserve, diversify and grow his clients’ wealth.
Marcel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University and a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. He also holds the Chartered Investment Management, Personal Financial Planner and Financial Management Advisor designations and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, Marcel is a five-year participant in the RBC Race for the Kids, and a supporter of Roots of Empathy, an organization dedicated to reducing bullying among children.
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Marcel has a strong working knowledge of French and German. He is an aviation enthusiast with his pilot’s license, plays guitar, and enjoys attending live music concerts and festivals.
As Private Banker, Scott Christie provides comprehensive financial management and innovative banking solutions for high-net-worth clients in Halifax, the South Shore and Cape Breton Island.
Mr. Christie brings 25 years of financial services expertise to his role, including 15 years providing financial planning advice and counsel to professionals, their families and their business as financial planner with RBC. Drawing on this experience, he now acts as a trusted advisor to his clients, and facilitates their access to customized solutions, including complex credit structures, tax and wealth planning. When needed, he will partner with a broad range of specialists across RBC to deliver investment management, Wills and estate planning, commercial banking, business succession planning and trust structures.
Originally from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Mr. Christie has called Halifax home\ since 1991. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s University and the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation, which adds additional insight and perspective to his client conversations.
Mr. Christie is married, and the proud father of two teenage daughters. He volunteers regularly with the Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank and the Sail Nova Scotia Handicap Committee, whose work focuses on making high-performance sailing and boating lifelong activities for Nova Scotians.
