Happy today to attend the graduation ceremony for Stella’s Circle’s 3rd cohort of its Youth Employment Skills (Yes!) Program in 2020. Nine youth graduated today for a year-to-date total of more than 30. The program ran in three different formats this year – virtual, outdoors and now back inside (with appropriate precautions). Congratulations to both students and facilitators!
Funding was provided by the RBC Future Launch program under which RBC has committed $500 million over 10 years to help youth get work experience, grow networks, gain new skills and enhance mental well-being. Accepting the “cheque” is Rob McLennan, Stella Circle’s Director of Employment Services. Thanks Rob and team!
