What’s New at DS: Secure Two-Way Messaging

Through the DS Online Secure Message Centre, you can now send and receive secure messages to and from your Investment Team. This eliminates the need for password-protected emails, and is backed by the RBC Dominion Securities 100% Online Guarantee.

 

To send us a message:

  • Log into your DS Online account via www.rbcds.com, RBC Royal Bank Online Banking, or directly through the Sign In link at the top of this website.
  • Locate the Message Centre, found in the Summary page of the My Home tab. You will see a box labeled “Your Communications”.
  • To send a secure message to your Investment Advisor, click “Send a Secure Message”.
  • The “To” field will contain a drop down list of everyone on your Investment Team. Select your recipient.
  • Compose your message and add any attachment you would like to include.
  • Send your message

To receive a message from us:

  • Log into your DS Online account via www.rbcds.com, RBC Royal Bank Online Banking, or directly through the Sign In link at the top of this website.
  • Locate the Message Centre, found in the Summary page of the My Home tab. You will see a box labeled “Your Communications”.
  • If you have a new message, it will display an alert. Click on the message to view the content and attachments.
  • To reply directly to that message, click the “Reply” button.

You can choose to receive email notifications when you have a new message in your DS Online Message Centre by updating your preferences in the “Edit Profile” tab. You can also use the Secure Two-Way Messaging to update your address and contact information with us, saving you from signing an authorization letter and returning it to us.

 

Unfortunately we still cannot accept trading instructions electronically, even via the Secure Two-Way Messaging system. Please call us for any transaction-related concerns, but feel free to utilize a Secure Two-Way Message to send us any sensitive or personal information.
