As August draws soon to a close, I thought that I would update everyone on what is happening here at RBC DS.

As August draws soon to a close, I thought that I would update everyone on what is happening here at RBC DS. As most of you already know from our previous blog article, we made a significant change in our team earlier this month. Craig Ward started with us toward the end of July and has already proven to be a great and experienced partner on our team. Craig has the title of “Financial Planner & Associate Advisor” and joins us from the recently closed Wallaceburg office. We are still figuring out exact roles and responsibilities on our newly expanded team, but we are excited by these good changes and the higher level of service that we will be able to offer.

I wanted to offer a special welcome to new clients from the Wallaceburg office that have recently joined the Hazzard Wealth Management team. We know that change is not always easy and we want to make sure that you continue to be well taken care of. Many of you already have a good relationship with Craig. To those I haven’t met already, I will be reaching out in the coming days to introduce myself and get to know you more. Thank you for your patience with all of these changes. Please take note of our contact information on the upcoming August statements or the “About Us” section of the website at https://ca.rbcwealthmanagement.com/kevin.hazzard/our-team

This summer wasn’t just about team building and work. I managed to take some time off in July for vacation. For much of that time, we stayed close to home and got some projects done around the house. We did take a few days during this time and drove to Quebec City for the first time. We rented an apartment with beautiful stone walls right in the heart of Old Quebec. This gave us an excellent vantage point to tour the city on foot and to enjoy the extensive culture and history all around us. We wondered why we had taken so long to make this trip – a truly beautiful city!

Please enjoy the rest of this summer. September is just around the corner…
