After graduating with a business degree in 1981, Kelly articled with the Calgary office of KPMG, then Ernst and Whinney, until receiving his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
Kelly began working as an Investment Advisor in the Calgary Office of RBC Dominion Securities on October 19, 1987. After four years in the investment advisory business, Kelly spent 11 years in Management with RBC Dominion Securities in Edmonton, Regina, Victoriaand Calgary.
Since transferring back to advising clients in 2002, Kelly has upgraded his skills by obtaining his CFP (Certified Financial Planning), CIM (Canadian Investment Manager) and PM (Portfolio Manager) designations. Kelly invests utilizing a systematic balanced approach customized to each client’s individual circumstances and risk profiles.
