Once again this year we celebrated "Pink Day".
Pink Day raises awareness and stands up against bullying and discrimination. Diversity & Inclusion is more than one of RBC's core values, it represents what we stand for, what we expect of one another, and how we treat each other.
Pink Day originated in 2007 when a male student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. To show solidarity and support, a group of students also wore pink and continued to spread the word. What started in Canada has now become an international movement to stand up against all forms of bullying and harassment.
We recognize Pink Day on the second Wednesday of April each year.
