Pink Shirt Day.
#PinkShirtDay - The Covid-19 pandemic has created repercussions worldwide and overcoming this unprecedented crisis means we have to rely on each other; it has shown us the importance of working together and advocating for the most vulnerable in our community. Our shirts may not be Pink this entire year, but our message is the same: be kind and treat everyone with respect and dignity.

Orange Shirt Day.
Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.
September 30 th is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission Residential School commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in the spring of 2013. It grew from Phyllis's story of having her shiny new orange shirt taken away on her first day of school at the Mission. RBC DS Kamloops proudly participated in this day by wearing their shirts to create awareness about the impact of the Residential School system on both Indigenous and non-Indigenous individuals and communities.
Orange Shirt Day has evolved in to a nationally participated day. This day provides a platform to keep the discussion on all aspects of truth and reconciliation at the forefront and encourages all Canadians to hear about the history of residential schools.
