Jessica’s varied experience ranges from bean counting to bull wrangling, and she draws upon these skills and financial industry insight to help clients grow and preserve their wealth.
Raised in a small farming community, she learned the value of working hard and giving back. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Management in Accounting from the University of Lethbridge, then went to Calgary, where she articled with an international accounting firm and obtained her CPA, CA designation. After a brief move to the United States, she knew she needed to come back home to southern Alberta.
Soon, Jessica realized that accounting wasn’t for her. Instead of looking at financial information from a rear-view mirror, she wanted to help guide clients toward a successful future. She switched industries and obtained her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and discretionary license. Her clients appreciate how much she values the farming industry and her ability to provide solutions that align with their specific needs.
The team and clients enjoy her fashion sense and endless pursuit of being a super nerd. Jessica is dedicated to constant learning, fresh ideas, and being involved in her community.
Associate Investment Advisor
As an Associate Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities, Blake’s main responsibilities include trading, market research, upkeeping the portfolio models for various asset classes, and assisting in the investment proposals and comparisons for client presentations.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Lethbridge with a double major in Economics and Mathematics. To better serve clients, he is a CFA Level II candidate working toward his designation. After earning his degree, he began his career in the finance industry. Over the past two years, he has gained valuable skills and experience in client service and analytical roles.
Away from work, Blake enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two dogs, hanging out with friends and family, and playing golf.
Associate
With eight years of retail banking and insurance experience and six additional years in wealth management, Carlee has brought extensive knowledge of all areas of client service and account management to our team. She holds a diploma in Office Administration and is licensed as an Investment Representative to help clients with all their needs. Clients and colleagues alike value her thoughtfulness, insight, and expertise.
Carlee grew up in a small farming town in southern Alberta. She enjoys camping with her family and is an avid listener of all types of audiobooks and podcasts.
After two decades in the banking world, Kalee possesses an abundance of knowledge about account types, administration, and client service. Her background as a Financial Advisor and Assistant Branch Manager has proved invaluable to our team. She enjoys the world of financial planning, is always willing to help clients, and can often anticipate their needs.
Born and raised in Lethbridge, Kalee has a passion for great food, captivating books, and spending precious moments with her husband and three children.
Administrative Assistant
Originally from Regina, Cailey moved to Lethbridge in 2022, armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, to pursue new opportunities. After joining Dominion Securities in March 2022, she moved to Joss Wealth Advisory Group in April 2023. Her can-do attitude and knowledge of systems and back-end processes make her an asset.
When not at work, Cailey enjoys immersing herself in reading, exercising her creative muscles by completing puzzles and Lego kits, and taking her dog for walks in the coulees.
