Ben grew up in Fredericton which he is proud to call his home. He graduated in 2002 from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in Business Administration. Ben is a very positive, focused and goal-orientated person who enjoys developing strong relationships. He is instinctually drawn to planning and processes in order to achieve both his and his client’s goals.

In 2004, he joined one of Canada’s leading investment firms as an Investment Advisor, and subsequently completed many industry-related courses to achieve the title of Wealth Advisor. Helping his clients through the very challenging financial crisis of 2008 is experience he looks forward to drawing on throughout his career. At RBC Dominion Securities, Ben helps his clients "Optimize for The Future" by guiding them through conversations about their various personal, family, business and professional goals in order to build customized, all-encompassing financial solutions.

Living a well-balanced life and experiencing as much as possible is important to Ben. He enjoys cooking, being physically active, learning new skills and overcoming any challenges that confront him. Ben believes strongly in volunteering (wonder where he gets that from!); for many years he actively volunteered with Scouts Canada to help build a better community through the personal development of youth.
