I’ve known about Mike Brown for a number of years, but only recently got the chance to speak to him. This two-time Olympian missed a bronze medal in Beijing by 9 hundredths of a second! Since retiring from sport, has successfully transitioned into a career as a business lawyer, working with Cunningham Swan in Kingston, Ontario.
I could have spoken to Mike for hours on all things Olympic, as well as get into the weeds on some of the legal considerations business owners are facing in today’s environment. However, we kept it brief. In this podcast we talked about how business owners are navigating the return to premise for employees and customers; how they are managing the disruption around service/distribution/lease agreements; as well as discussed how this pandemic has really increased the emphasis on the due diligence process if you are buying or selling a business.
I enjoyed this conversation with Mike, and I hope you do too!
