Without a doubt, Real estate is one of those topics that is always of interest. There are a number of reasons, but I’d say its because your home, or your future home, is your most valuable asset. Further, for those who own real and since it’s not marked-to-market (assessed everyday like a stock), it’s one of those asset classes where it’s fun to speculate what you could get if you were to sell it. To understand how the market is doing during this pandemic, I was lucky enough to get Derek Hooper, a member of the Hooper Home Team here in Ottawa to join me in what was an enlightening conversation.
