Responsible Investing 101: Taking a turn

Often mistaken, confused, or misrepresented (although not intentionally), Responsible Investing is usually categorized as a portfolio management subculture that sacrifices returns for the sake of moral high ground. This is simply not the case, both in reference to the methodology, and the obscurity.

 

The needle on cognitive awareness when it comes to our daily decisions has taken some time to move, but it is happening and you cannot mistake that. 

 

Through a series of articles and comments this week, I hope to open the door to heightened awareness on this very subject. I am neither a proponent to a naysayer when it comes to adapting this process in portfolio management so let's go down this road together with an open mind.
