Did you know that people on average spend 6 hours/day consuming some form of digital media. Over half of that time is spent on a mobile device application. Recent research shows that Millennials are checking their mobile device approximately 150 times per day!! I think it's too late to turn back. The following came out of Mary Meeker's presentation at the code conference. Mary was a former Morgan Stanley tech analyst, and is now a technology VC. Its a huge slide deck that can be found here (click for slide deck) . I perused it and found the some very interesting statistics. There are a lot of slides, but if you skip through them quickly you can hit on the important ones fairly easily. It's just quick glance numbers for general reference, and regardless whether you are in business, working for someone, or retired and just interested, the data is useful.
