A big thank you to our great neighbors the 9-10 club at St. Andrew's Cathedral (AKA "The Soup Kitchen") for allowing DS to help with their daily breakfast service this morning. We had a lot of fun and met some great people.
The Soup Kitchen is a program of the 9-10 Club Serving Soup to the Hungry Society. The society is a registered non-denominational charity and has been in continuous operation since 1982. They are the only service club that serves their clients breakfast while they sit at the table. Their volunteers serve Monday to Friday: no one is turned away and no one ever leaves hungry.
