Dan joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1980 and has been recognized on many occasions for his hard work and dedication to professional excellence.

He was appointed Vice-President in 1994 and Director in 2005 – significant achievements in our firm that recognize Dan’s commitment and dedication to both his clients and RBC Dominion Securities. And, most notably, Dan has achieved the highest level of recognition at RBC Dominion Securities: membership in our Chairman’s Council. The prestigious Chairman’s Council is designated for the top performing advisors at Canada’s leading wealth management firm (Strategic Insight's Retail Brokerage and Distribution Report—Canada (Fall 2018).

Together, Dan and Mathew currently manage approximately $800 million in client assets. Their clients range from individual investors to corporations and charitable institutions. Dan attributes his success to putting clients’ investment needs, concerns and objectives first. In addition, his ability to identify investment opportunities, regardless of market conditions, has been a cornerstone of his practice. Mathew joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2005, and has since been recognized for both his expertise in investment management and comprehensive wealth management, along with his passion for serving clients. His long-standing leadership and commitment to excellence have resulted in his appointment as a Vice-President of RBC Dominion Securities.

As a Portfolio Manager, Mathew sits among a select group of RBC Dominion Securities personnel able to offer discretionary portfolio services through Private Investment Management. To earn this title, an Investment Advisor must have extensive experience advising clients and substantial assets under their direct management, in addition to rigorous academic coursework. This is the highest level of investment manager in the industry.

Mathew along with his partner Dan manage over $800 million in client assets, working with high-net-worth individuals, corporations and charitable institutions that require a premium level of expertise in risk-mitigated investment management.

In addition to managing investment portfolios for some of Canada’s wealthiest families and successful corporations, Mathew is also a registered insurance representative. Along with his extended team of experts, this allows him to provide a full suite of wealth management strategies and services, including Will and estate planning, as well as tax and insurance planning.

Mathew is deeply committed to giving back both professionally and personally. He is dedicated to sharing his experience and insights as a mentor to other advisors, and acts as our branch’s charity champion for RBC’s Employee Giving Campaign. When he’s not spreading awareness for RBC’s Employee Giving Campaign, Mathew is passionate about raising funds for the OSPCA.

Gail’s experience in the investment industry dates back to 1980. She has spent most of her career at RBC Dominion Securities holding roles of increasing responsibility and working with both corporate and individual clients. Gail supports Dan in providing timely portfolio management advice and service to clients, and ensures client trades are executed efficiently. In addition to her active involvement in equity research and portfolio monitoring, Gail also contributes advice to our focus list designed for advisor clients. A key resource for our team, Gail provides integral support in the day-to-day management of our clients’ affairs. She is well respected by our clients and their other professional advisors for both her integrity and her high level of service.

Armela joined Grant Wealth Management of RBC Dominion Securities in 2019, bringing with her over seven years of wealth management and client service experience. Armela’s primary focus is on providing exemplary client service, which is reflected in her dedication to timely communication, understanding the needs of clients and offering advice that is right for them. She has earned the accreditation of licensed Registered Representative, allowing her to assist clients in the direct trading of securities.

Armela is responsible for updating clients with financial projections and strategies with RBC’s unique myGPSTM tool, which offers a virtual look forward at their financial Goals, Priorities and Solutions. In addition to overseeing scheduling for discovery meetings, Armela manages the preparation and presentation of our clients’ myGPSTM snapshots. As a key support for our discretionary portfolio management offering, Armela contributes to portfolio modelling and the organization of bulk trades. She also assists with the portfolio management process through market analysis, equity research and portfolio monitoring.

Alejandra joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2016. With over 10 years of experience in retail sales and management, she brings a high level of service and attention to detail to clients of Grant Wealth Management of RBC Dominion Securities. As a key administrator for our team, Alejandra provides critical support to help elevate our service offering. In addition to executing account transfers and requests, Alejandra assists with the administration of insurance materials and helps our clients execute the documentation of Wills and estate materials in a timely manner.

Riquelle joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2018. She leverages her background in retail sales management to consistently provide top level service to clients. As an integral member of our administrative team, Riquelle is responsible for preparing complex documentation and compliance materials, processing account transfer requests and handling tax package inquiries and distribution, as well as assisting clients with accessing their WM Online accounts. She offers dedicated project management skills and systematic organization to keep our operation running smoothly.
