Financial Planning Specialist
Elvis has been working in the financial services industry since 1994 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Economics. His past experience includes working at two large financial services institutions focusing on financial planning and wealth building.
In 2007 Elvis joined RBC Dominion Securities and has been providing sophisticated financial planning advice to clients of RBC as a valued member of RBC Wealth Management Services.
Elvis has acquired extensive knowledge in financial planning, tax planning and wealth management. He has attained numerous industry designations, including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), which is reserved for an elite group of financial professional who have met exacting standards for industry experience, advanced education and solid endorsements from their peers and superiors. Elvis has also completed all three levels of the In-Depth Tax Course with CPA Canada.
As a Financial Planning Specialist at RBC Wealth Management Services, Elvis’ role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans for clients.
Will & Estate Specialist
Connie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1989 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1992. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1994.
Prior to joining RBC, Connie practised law for 18 years. As a partner in a mid-sized full-service law firm, her practise was varied and covered the areas of corporate/commercial law, real estate, and wills, trusts and estates law. In that role, Connie advised her owner-manager clients on a broad range of business and personal needs, from purchases and sales of businesses, to shareholder agreements and corporate reorganizations, to will and estate planning.
For many years Connie taught the Business Law section of the Bar Admissions Course and was involved with preparing the licensing exams for Ontario lawyers. Throughout her career, Connie has been involved in her broader community, serving on many non-profit boards as well as providing pro bono legal services.
