Eric is a graduate of Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (B.BA), majoring in Finance. He has been working in the financial services industry for 14 years, advising clients as a financial planner for 12 of those.
Given the importance of helping clients transition their wealth through various life stages, Eric has completed many extended educational courses. He has been registered as a Professional Financial Planner (PFP®) for more than a decade and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, which is a leading industry standard for discretionary investment and portfolio management services. Also, as a life-licensed agent, he is qualified to advise clients on tax deferral, risk management, and complex estate-planning strategies through the use of life insurance. Dedicated to continuous learning, Eric has been recognized for his expertise and professionalism, earning the coveted distinction of Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). This is considered the highest honor and most senior credential in Canadian financial services.
In his free time, Eric volunteers with several non-profit organizations around the Vernon area. He is an avid cross-country skier who has represented Canada internationally, including at the World Championships as a National Ski Team member. He also enjoys backpacking, traveling, running, mountain biking and road cycling of all kinds. He and his wife Christie are raising their two children - Thalia, 5 & Leif, 2 - here in Vernon, and plan to be here for many years.
