Elizabeth’s Certifications and Designations

Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA):

The CPCA designation course provides an overview of the health, social, financial, and legal considerations that arise as we navigate our various life stages. To earn the CPCA designation professionals must complete successfully 24 modules offered as part of the CPCA curriculum. This program is not limited to financial professionals but rather demonstrates respect for the “Stewardship” that is aging.

Certified Financial Planner (CFP):

The CFP certification program is designed to ensure financial planners are able to meet their clients’ needs and the evolving requirements of the financial services industry. In order to achieve and maintain this designation professionals must meet rigorous standards through a 6 step process.

Fellow of CSI (FCSI):

Every industry has leaders – people who go above and beyond to set new standards that others strive towards. In Canadian financial services, these people are the Fellows of CSI (FCSI®). The FCSI designation is the highest honour and most senior credential in Canadian financial services; reserved solely for an elite group of experienced financial services professionals.

Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM):

The global standard for strategic wealth management, the CIWM, is a wealth designation designed to meet the complex and often changing needs of high net worth clients. The requirements make the CIWM one of the most difficult designations to achieve and maintain.

Financial Management Advisor (FMA):

The FMA is a prestigious professional designation awarded by the Canadian Securities Institute. To achieve her FMA Elizabeth completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Professional Financial Planning Course, and the Wealth Management Techniques Course. Each of these course represents up to 500 hours of study.

Financial Advisors have been under fire recently for simply following orders from headquarters. I have never felt that you followed that road but rather took your clients' interest to heart and acted accordingly.  These are difficult times and they won’t go away soon. You are providing what a good Advisor should – providing the very best advice that you can in order to preserve clients assets.  I know that that requires extra work on your part. And you don’t do it just for Heide and I; you do it for all you clients, of that I am sure. I hope they appreciate your effort as much as we do.
